Half Marathon
13.1 Miles

The Women's Epic Half Marathon is more than just a raceโ€”itโ€™s an unforgettable road race set against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. This road loop course begins and ends at Weber State Universityโ€™s Football Stadium, taking runners through a mix of rolling hills and fast descents. You'll race past vibrant fall colors, open vistas, and mountain scenery, all leading to an unforgettable stadium finish on the Weber State track.

4 Hours (approx 18-minute miles) to finish. Whether youโ€™re running, walking, or a little of both, with a smart plan, this race is in-reach for every woman!

10k
6.2 Miles

Starting and finishing at Weber State Universityโ€™s Football Stadium, this loop road course takes runners through a combination of smooth stretches and manageable hills. Youโ€™ll experience breathtaking mountain views, vibrant fall foliage, and the energy of an unforgettable stadium finish on the Weber State Track!

2 Hours (approx 18-minute miles) to finish. Whether youโ€™re running, walking, or a little of both, with a smart plan, this race is in-reach for every woman!

Race Details

  • *All swag-bags/bibs must be picked up Friday before the race (October 17) from 12:00pm to 6:30pm at Weber State Stadium (3850 Stadium Way) I.D. must be provided.

    Beginning at 6:00pm join us on the field for a pre-race yoga style stretch.

    6:30pm: Get hyped and motivated with Coach Rhandi.

    6:45 pm: Meet ladies from the Womenโ€™s Epic community and get your jitters out at our Silent Disco Party!

  • The Half Marathon will have five aid stations along the course, placed approximately every two miles. Aid stations will have water and Clean Simple Eatsโ€™ Hydrate containing electrolytes. Your 2, 3, 4, and 5th aid station will have Cranksports E-Gel containing 150 calories, 37 grams of carbs, and electrolytes. All aid stations will also have portable toilets.

  • We will have a fully staffed pacer team, which means there will be an experienced leader who is skilled at keeping the group on target for a specific pace. You can line-up with these pacers to stay on pace for the following finish times: 1:45, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30, 2:45, 3:00 and a sweeper. 

  • Medical personnel will be available at the start line, finish area, each aid station, and throughout the course.

  • Half Marathon: 4 hours

    10k: 2 hours

    An 18 minute, 17 second mile is needed to complete the race before cutoff.

    There will be cutoff checkpoints at each mile. There will be NO early start for runners. Please be aware that our permit dictates that the streets that comprise the race route will be re-opened to vehicle traffic on a rolling basis at each cutoff checkpoint. On-course aid stations will also close at each checkpoint.

  • All finishers will receive a custom Womenโ€™s Epic Necklace to remind you of how badass you are, daily. Additionally, our top three overall and top three in each age category will be recognized on the podium with prizes from our sponsors.

  • Stewart Stadium (finish and start line) will have restrooms accessible at the start and finish line. Portable restrooms will be available on the course at each aid station (every 2 miles). Please DO NOT relieve yourself on private or public property.

  • Womenโ€™s Epic has partnered with the Courtyard Marriott in Ogden for an exclusive lodging rate. Please book your stay using this link.

  • Road Closures will affect parking for participants and spectators. Please follow these directions:

    Directions from SLC:

    1. Get onto I-15 N

    2. Take a slight right onto US-89 N - Exit 324 (12.6mi)

    3. Slight right onto Harrison Blvd (2.6mi)

    4. Turn Right onto East 4600 South

    5. Turn Left onto Taylor Avenue > Turn Left onto Country Hills > Turn Right onto Edgehill Drive > Merge at the Top of Taylor Avenue until you reach the Stewart Stadium.

    6. From there you can park in lots A6, W5, and W4

    Directions from Logan:

    1. Get onto US-89 S/US-91 S

    2. Turn left onto US-89 S/S Main St and continue to follow US-89 S (9.5mi)

    3. Slight right to stay on US-89 S (7.5mi)

    4. Slight right onto S 400 E St/S Washington Blvd (1.0mi)

    5. Turn left onto E 1200 S St/12th St (1.2mi)

    6. Continue straight onto Canyon Rd (0.1mi)

    7. Turn right onto S Harrison Blvd (3.4mi)

    8. Turn Left onto East 4600 South

    9. Turn Left onto Taylor Avenue > Turn Left onto Country Hills > Turn Right onto Edgehill Drive > Merge at the Top of Taylor Avenue until you reach the Stewart Stadium.

    10. From there you can park in lots A6, W5, and W4

    *If spectators are arriving between 6:55am- 7:30am, please expect delays due to the race.
