What is women’s epic race?

Women's Epic is the first women's-specific mountain trail race based out of Utah. It was created for all skill-levels of adventure-seeking women who want to leave their comfort zone behind, explore the trails, and be empowered by an inspiring community of like-minded ladies. The vertical trek to the top of the mountain is the ultimate test of endurance and mental strength. The views will take your breath away, and the after-party at the finish line will make it all worth it.

Women’s Epic hosts trail races with 10k and 20k distances. All events have top-notch support and amenities, as well as epic swag and sponsored items. Beginner to elite athletes are welcome at our events.

Women’s Epic made history by becoming Utah’s first women’s-specific road half marathon in 2025, furthering its mission to empower, unite, and celebrate women through epic endurance events built just for them.

bib pickup information

Race Morning Bib & Swag Pickup

Trail Race: Bib pickup will be available at the resort the morning of the race. Registration will close 15 minutes prior to the race start time. Please arrive early. No late starts will be permitted.

Road Half Marathon/10k: Bib pickup will only be available at Weber State/ Stewart Stadium on Friday, October 17 from 12:00-6:30pm. NO MORNING SWAG PICKUP.

Evening Bib & Swag Pickup

Trail Race: Participants will have the opportunity to pick up their bibs and swag the evening before the race.

Road Half Marathon/10k: Participants will have the opportunity to pick up their bibs and swag the day before the race at Weber State/Stewart Stadium on Friday, October 17 from 12:00-6:30pm. Beginning at 6:00pm join us on the field for a pre-race yoga style stretch. Get hyped and motivated with Coach Rhandi. Meet ladies from the Women’s Epic community and get your jitters out at our Silent Disco Party!

*All participants must pick up their own swag-bags/bibs with a photo ID. For our safety and yours, we are sticklers on this. We do not ship swag bags.

Race/Events Policies

Refund & Deferral Policy

Due to the scale of our event, Women’s Epic does not offer refunds or allow bib transfers—tickets cannot be sold or transferred. We understand that life happens, so deferrals may be granted only in the following cases. Deferrals will not be made within 30 days of race day.
-Injury preventing safe participation (doctor’s note required)
-Pregnancy (doctor’s note required)
-Military deployment (supporting document)
-Significant life events within 30 days of the race (e.g., loss of a family member, Supporting documents must be provided).
For the Road Half Marathon & 10k ONLY, you can transfer events with an event transfer fee and no refunds up to 15 days before October 18, 2025.
To request a deferral, email info@womensepicrace.com with supporting documents and 30 days prior to race day—no exceptions. Thank you for your understanding!
Cancellation Policy

Women’s Epic organizers reserve the ability and right to cancel the event due to unsafe weather, and any variety of circumstances, etc. For the safety of participants and staff we reserve the right to cancel, reschedule or re-route the race course as we see fit.
Swag Bag Policy

You must present your I.D. prior to picking up your bag. We will not give swag to a friend to pick up for you. You must pick up YOUR OWN swag bag and show I.D. No exceptions. Swag will not be shipped or available after any events for pickup.
Podium Winners Policy

We will not give your prizes to a friend. You must be present at the time of awards. No exceptions. Prizes will not be shipped or available after any events for pickup.
Women's Epic Big Ass Epic Prize – Terms & Conditions can be found here. You must be present with your bib in hand at the time of the giveaway to win – You will have 60 seconds to take the stage once your bib number has been called. You have 60 seconds to claim your prize — or we’ll draw again!
No dogs/ babies/children to accompany participants on trail

We love fur babies and kids alike, however for everyone’s safety they may not join you on course. No Strollers are allowed on course.
Fair Competition

Because our mission is to promote and support women, only those who are female are permitted to participate in Women’s Epic timed and competitive race events. Our team is committed to fair competition. Our vendor village is open to all, as we feel it is important that everyone supports and celebrates women in running. We appreciate your support of women in sport as we inspire the next generation of female athletes.

Aid Stations

Bring Your Own Water Bottle. The Goal is Zero Waste

We are asking all athletes to have their own water bottles/vest/hydration pack. Aid stations will have water and electrolytes to replenish your bottles.

Race Rules and Regulations

ALL WINNERS MUST BE PRESENT AT THE TIME OF THE AWARDS CEREMONY TO RECEIVE PRIZES. Prizes will not be shipped or given to a friend. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Women’s Epic has the right to postpone award ceremony to confirm any logistical or time concerns with timing-system.
Women’s Epic may request smartwatch data if there is any concern about course-cutting, etc.
Podium Winner’s time will be based on gun-time, not chip time.
You must complete the marked course on foot under your own power. Trekking poles are permitted.
You must stay on the marked course at all times. Short cuts are not permitted. If you get lost return to the last sighted marking or check point.
Your race number must be worn visibly
Course sweepers are following behind the last runner and removing the markers. If you are towards the back of the race, make sure you do not step off the course and let the sweepers overtake you as the markers will then be removed and you may not be able to follow the course.
Any tampering with course marking or other actions that are deemed against a fair and sporting spirit is unacceptable and will result in disqualification.
The race director reserves the right to delay the start time, bring forward the start time, modify the race course if necessary be it to extend the distance or reduce the distances and/or modify the cut off times if safety becomes an issue. The race director also reserves the right to cancel the event if necessary and to postpone or move the event date to a later date.
Competitors understand and accept that the organizers reserve the right to make changes to the published race course as deemed necessary at any time.
Competitors understand that runners are prohibited from swapping, selling or transferring race slots/race entries/race bibs to another persons will be based on gun-time, not chip time.
